The North County Family Law Specialists is an organization that provides support, information, and continuing education to a specialized group of attorneys with the goal of maintaining high standards of practice in family law.

A Certified Family Law Specialist must meet rigorous requirements to be certified by the State Bar of California, and must complete substantially more hours of continuing legal education and have substantial courtroom experience to remain certified. A very small percentage of family law attorneys in California are family law specialists.
